Park Ave Summer Arts Fest

The Park Ave Summer Art Fest is one of Rochester's favorite and most lively events since 1976. It takes place the first full weekend in August along one and a quarter miles of Park Avenue near downtown Rochester, NY, from Alexander Street to Culver Road. The tree-lined avenue is a mixture of Victorian residential homes and apartments, small businesses, restaurants and cafes.

Over 300 artists and exhibitors from 21 states and Canada exhibit at this juried arts and crafts show. There is also festival food and music at three stages. Member merchants along the avenue are also allowed to display their wares in front of their stores.

Artist and Exhibitor booths are set up on the curb going back over the sidewalk. The street is closed to traffic during festival hours. Admission is free to the public. Parking is on side streets and in two nearby parking lots with shuttles to either end of the festival.
